Where is your home going to be after you die? You are a precious creature created in the image of God, and he has made you to live forever. When your body dies, what will happen then? Did you know that you can be assured that heaven will be your home after you die? It is written: "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13). The Bible says that if we believe in the name of Jesus that we can have assurance of eternal life. He also says that he is going to make a new home for us in heaven. Jesus said: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3)God wants you to be with him in heaven, and offers you the choice today. He can lift your head from the shame of all the wrong and evil in this world, and will give you a new name and a new home with him forever. |
